Wellness Retreats Stay-cation
Welcome to Ireland's Heartlands Retreats, the first Pilates, Mindfulness and Wellness retreat in Irelands Hidden Heartlands. Nestled close to the shores of Lough Ree just north of Athlone, this beautiful, Pilates, Yoga, Mindfulness and Wellness retreat, is a place of sanctuary for you to take time out to rejuvenate, relax, de-stress and unwind. We have a holistic approach to our retreats, with the focus being very much on your self care and we aim to help you achieve this through your physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being.
If you’re planning a stay-cation this year, we would love to have you stay with us. If you can’t get away, then let us bring wellness to you. We have a wide variety of wellness packages to suit all your needs, whether that’s Wellness for the corporate industry, Wellness Hen and Social groups.
You can also join us for regular Pilates classes weekly in studio or live online. We will support you with coping strategies, building resilience, self care tips and stress and time management. We address issues around Pilates for back pain, Pilates for beginners and intermediate levels, yoga stretching, breathing techniques and mindfulness meditation.

“Thank you Olive, What a fabulous experience, on this Pilates and Wellness Retreat at Irelands Heartlands Retreats in Lecarrow, Co. Roscommon.
The day started with a Pilates Postural Analysis and Breathing, I learned a lot more than I expected, from the correct Pilates Breathing, Pilates Pelvic Floor and Core Muscles. The correct way to stand with posture. Olive is very professional, She made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed.
We then went to lunch and after lunch went on an organised guided Tour in Mote Conservation Forest Park, The Tour guides were Eillish Feely and Seamus Loch, It was a relaxing and interesting experience, and a great way to get in touch with nature and learning about the plants, animals and the Crofton Family History. After the nature walk, We returned back to the Pilates Retreat Center for our evening of Restoration Pilates class,
With some gentle stretching. and finishing with guided mindfulness meditation. The blend of the gentle Pilates and mindfulness classes, lunch, Nature Walk, was so relaxing and a perfect way to switch off from the race that has become normal life. On your wellness retreat you will experience rejuvenating gentle Pilates exercises and Yoga stretches and nourish yourself with locally produced healthy food, enjoy the vegetable garden and local farm. From here we invite you to explore our nature walks in Mote Conservation Park, the Mount Plunkett wildlife sanctuary, hiking/biking in Slaibh Ban or take a boat trip on the river Shannon.
Take some time out to enjoy some of the interesting local Heritage on offer by visiting the Clay Pipe and Rathcroghan Visitor Centers. Following this let us bring you back to engage in self-care tips on managing all aspects of your well-being, finishing with some Mindfulness and Mediation.
